Easy Crowd Pleasers for the Holidays

It is important to get the perfect dish down for the holidays. I love to bring dishes that wow people, and so many of these dishes are show stoppers. From Sides to main dishes to desserts, there are many to choose from. These are some fantastic holiday crowd pleasers.

Tools you may need...

I love that these sausage bites are so easy to throw together and can even be done in the crockpot. You can make these as a side dish, a bbq dish or even a main entree.

If you are tired of doing crockpot smokies and it always come out with a runny sauce, then you need to give these ones a try. The sauce is thick and the flavor is on point!

3. Funeral Potatoes

It’s not Christmas or Thanksgiving without a good potato casserole. These Funeral potatoes are extremely creamy and cheesy and hit the spot EVERYTIME! I love the cornflakes on top as they add so much flavor!

Recipe:

16 ounces Sour Cream

1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup

32 ounces of Frozen Hash brown Potatoes

2 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/4 Cup Melted Butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

Topping:

2 Cups Corn flakes

1/4 Cup melted butter

If you love to have lots of vegetables on your plate then you should definitely give these a good try. They are sweet, buttery, soft and delicious. They also have a hint of cinnamon for all you cinnamon lovers like myself.

I’ve made crockpot Mac and cheese so many times, but I think the trick is to not add the macaroni raw, but to cook it at the very end and then add it to your cheese mixture. It will come out with such a creamy and cheesy texture. Everyone will be talking about it.

This dip is very surprising. All the flavors really work together and you can dip some crackers of any kind in it and it will be fantastic!

Green Bean Casserole is a classic for  the holidays and this one has a twist. It’s creamy and has a ritz cracker crunch on top which makes this dish perfect to bring to your family gathering this year.

8. Cherry Cheesecake

If you have a huge sweet tooth like I do, you will love this one. It is rich and creamy and my family ALWAYS wants me to bring this for dessert for Christmas time. This one will knock your socks off!

Recipe:

Graham Cracker Crust (1 1/2 Graham Crackers, 1 Stick of melted butter, 1/8 cup granulated sugar

8 oz. Cool Whip

2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Blocks (8 oz. Each) Cream Cheese

1 Can Cherry Pie filling

You can never have too many dips! This one is loaded with corn and is so creamy but not too cheesy. The jalapeños add great flavor, you are definitely going to want to give this one a try!

This dessert is one we as a family are obsessed with. It has a wonderful taste of pumpkin pie, but great cheesecake texture. If you are in charge of desserts this year for thanksgiving, you will want to bring this one.
