These Funeral potatoes are such a great side and so easy to make! These would go great for a potluck or even an easter side dish!

Funeral Potatoes

There is no better side dish than a potato side dish. I love that these potatoes are super easy to make and very minimal ingredients. These turn out very cheesy and creamy that you will want to make these all the time. 

 

If you love an easy side dish that will sure to please your family and guests then this will be a go-to for you! 

How to make it

In a large bowl you will need to add your potatoes, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheese and salt & Pepper. 

To your casserole dish add your potato mixture along and top with your cornflakes. Drizzle the butter right on top. 

Bake in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes. 

Pro tip...

~You can always use real potatoes instead of the frozen diced potatoes. ~Be sure to check out the tools for this recipe below ~Feel free to skim the can of cream of chicken soup and replace it with a homemade one. ~This meal would go great with some ham or any kind of holiday meal.

  • 9x13 Casserole Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Diced Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (Melted)
  • 2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 2 Cups Sour Cream
  • 2 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2.5 Cups Corn Flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350F
  • 2. Add all the ingredients except for Butter and Cornflakes to a large bowl.
  • 3. Stir until all is completely combined properly.
  • 4. Add all the ingredients of the bowl to a 9x13 Pan.
  • 5. Melt Butter
  • 6. Add all of your cornflakes to a small bowl or a ziplock bag and crush only slightly.
  • 7. Add the cornflakes to the top of your 9x13 pan.
  • 8. Pour melted butter on top of the cornflakes.
  • 9. Bake for 45 minutes.
  • 10. Enjoy!
